Jeff Beck Dies At Age 78

Legendary British guitarist Jeff Beck has passed away at the age of 78. A guitarist so legendary that he wants replaced Eric Clapton in the Yardbirds.

Back experimented with his guitar tones on stage and like to add in hints of metal, jazz, rock, punk and more!

He said that he played the way he did because it allowed him to come up with new sounds. He was never happy with just going along with the current trends, he had to push the envelope!

After hearing Elvis on the radio Beck developed a fascination with guitar. But being unable to afford one, 5 pounds back in 1956, he decided to build his own guitar.

Over the decades he would go on to influence many other musicians as well as entire genres of music.

Beck passed away peacefully in his sleep after contracting bacterial meningitis. His His presence will be missed by many both on and off stage.
